Report dedicated to the castle of Chambord and the creation of gardens. Indeed, since the French Revolution, the gardens were no more than a meadow. Thanks to the investment of 3 million euros by a passionate investor, an American patron, Stephen Schwarzman, the French-style gardens were recreated and this after updating all the sources of information of the time. The gardens are today the perfect copy of those depicted on an 18th century engraving. Commentary on factual images accompanied by interviews with Pascal THEVARD, director of buildings and gardens of Domaine de Chambord, Luc FORLIVESI, curator of Domaine de Chambord and mcirotrottoir.

For 2 years, archaeologists have been searching the latrines of the Château de Chambord. The latrines served as both a toilet and a garbage dump. Volunteer archaeologists found ceramics and a hundred objects with inscriptions from the 16th to the 19th century. Once dug up, all objects are sorted, cleaned and sent to experts who analyze and date them. The Château de Chambord being almost empty of furniture, these objects allow to trace its history.
