Les joueurs et le staff du XV de France, auteurs d'un Grand Chelem dans le tournoi des cinq nations, sont reçus à l'Elysée par le Président Jacques Chirac. Après avoir donné une poignée de main à l'ensemble des joueurs, le Président prononce un discours : "...une heure et demie d'état de grâce, un jeu de rêve, porté par une équipe de rêve, devant un public de rêve..."
