Although the results of the second round of municipal elections did not allow the National Front to win some of the town halls it coveted, the frontist party confirmed its establishment in the South-East. Example in Marignane in the Bouches-du-Rhône where the FN candidate, Daniel SIMONPIERI, was elected. Comment alternating with a micro-pavement made with inhabitants and interviews of Jean Luc FRANGER, PS, and Guy MARTIN, Divers Droite, accusing themselves of not having withdrawn. Interviewed Daniel SIMONPIERI explains: "My opponents spent the week attacking each other, I was content, in quotation marks, to propose, I think the voters preferred to elect and set up someone who proposes...".
