Inauguration of the Balenciaga Foundation in Getaria
In Getaria in the Spanish Basque Country, the inauguration of the Balenciaga Foundation took place. She has moved many personalities from the couture industry, customers of the brand and admirers, all of whom have come to honour the country’s child, Cristobal Balenciaga. A temporary exhibition organized for the occasion, foreshadows the museum which should open in the same place in 2003. The images alternate previews of the inauguration, the exhibition, the construction site of the future museum, and the interview of Paco RABANNE who remembers his work with the designer.
