The war in Indochina

In Washington, the Minister of National Defence of the PLÉVEN government, Jules MOCH, is received by the Secretary of State for Defence, MARSHALL to support the French government in its fight against communism in Indochina, in parallel with Korea. Indeed, the danger is more pressing because of Communist China arming the Viet Minh. French paratroopers fly over the Sino-Vietnamese border crossing at Cao Bang in north Tonkin a few days before the abandonment of these posts.
