Donation of the Hays collection to the Musée d'Orsay
Texan couple Spencer and Marlene HAYS, great collectors of Impressionist canvases, decided to offer the Musée d'Orsay their collection estimated at 350 million euros. For this gesture, the couple received the Legion of Honour from President François Hollande. Audrey AZOULAY, Minister of Culture and Guy COGEVAL, President of the Musée d'Orsay underlines the exceptional character of this donation.
