Report on the issue of assisted human reproduction (PMA) and gestation for others (GPA). French law allows the PMA for infertile heterosexual couples. GPA is banned in France, as reaffirmed by Prime Minister Manuel Valls. Children born to GPA abroad are not recognized in France, contrary to what the European Court of Human Rights demands.
