Report on the ceremonies marking the 70th anniversary of General DE GAULLE’s call of 18 June 1940 from London. Several ceremonies were held. At Mont Valérien (Hauts-de-Seine), in the presence of Nicolas SARKOZY and François JACOB, Nobel Prize in Medicine and Chancellor of the Order of the Liberation Companions, but also, a Eurostar having been specially chartered to welcome the last veterans of Free France and transport them, in London, where President SARKOZY travelled with his wife to attend the commemorative ceremonies on site with Prince CHARLES and Prime Minister David CAMERON.
