Austria - neutrality

Austria is one of the last European countries to proclaim its neutrality, while being committed to the European Union. Dr Hanspeter NEUHOLD, Director of the Institute of International Law, raises the question of Austria’s political neutrality today, after the loss of the reference conflict, the Cold War, which justified this choice. The historian, Jean Paul BLED, explains that the Austrian population is very attached to neutrality; unlike a part of the political class.
