Explosion of an atomic bomb in Mururoa

Report of François DE CLOSETS from the National Navy carrier "The Hurricane" on the occasion of a nuclear explosion on the atoll of Mururoa. The explosion is not visible because the flash is too dangerous for the view. You can see the development of the fungus, and hear the shock wave two minutes after the explosion. These images are followed by a short interview with Vincent COUTROT, from the CEA, explaining that the shooting takes place at a few hundred meters of altitude to avoid too much contamination of the water of the lagoon.
