Modernization of the 1901 Association Act

Today we are even celebrating the 100th anniversary of the famous law of July 1, 1901 governing associations. This law on the non-profit "contract of association" currently concerns in France more than 800,000 associations in various fieldss: clubs, unions, friends, support committees, foundations, etc. Due to the radical Pierre WALDECK-ROUSSEAU, Prime Minister Lionel JOSPIN decided to modernize this law, including consequent tax measures.
