Sea of ice
In Chamonix, the Mer de Glace, the largest glacier in the Alps, bottoms. Each year its size decreases. Yet, in 1989, glaciologist Louis Reynaud spoke of a healthy glacier. Find here the glacier in 1967 where tourists climbing in sandals or 40 years later the concern of EDF on its accelerated melting.
