The third and final junction of the Channel Tunnel
For the drilling of the last tunnel, the railway south or T3 French side, a curtain opens on the last wheel towers of the tunneller Catherine drilling the last centimetres of chalk that separates it from England. "TMLMade HISTORY 1991". The French teams go out by the cutting wheel with a smile on their lips, to join their English counterparts as well as the leaders of TML and Eurotunnel. Interviews with Lionel SUQUET (T3 site manager), Philippe ESSIG(TML), André BENARD (EUROTUNNEL). They are proud of the success of this first phase of work in just "3 and a half years".
