Figure of the revolution of 1983 that made the Upper Volta Burkina Faso, and then president of the country, Thomas Sankara is considered the Ché Guevara African. It embodies an anti-imperialist, socialist and pan-African policy. We find him here in images, not hesitating to spin the metaphor in his speeches, his interviews. He was assassinated by Blaise Compaoré in 1987. The trial of this murder begins in October 2021, 34 years after the facts.
