Live from the Elysée, the President of the Republic Jacques CHIRAC to explain to the French the position of France in the Iraqi crisis. Questioned by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor of TF1 and David Pujadas of France 2, he said that France would vote "no" to the second resolution on Iraq presented by the United States and would use its right of veto at the United Nations. David PUJADAS and Patrick POIVRE D'ARVOR ask Jacques CHIRAC if this veto would not open a diplomatic crisis with the United States and an economic embargo. It states: "France is not an anti-American country... We have two centuries of common history... There is no risk that the French people and the American people will get angry..."
