Referendum on the Arab Confederation in Libya

Referendum on the Arab Confederation in Libya

A referendum is held in Tripoli to determine whether or not Libya will join the Arab confederation. A show with the usual decorum (parade of planes and tanks) accompanies the event, with a speech by Colonel Gaddafi. Although the Libyan vote seems to be a given, Gaddafi spent more than two hours explaining the need to unite Libya, Syria, Egypt and Sudan under Colonel Nommery. The latter was present at his side, as well as francophone African heads of state and an official French delegation. Commentary on factual images and plateau in situation of the joutnaliste Jacques Abouchar.
