During this weekend, the first meetings of the Association Life took place in the district of La Défense in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine). The 1901 law, which sets out the framework for freedom of association (non-profit associations), will celebrate its centenary in two years. On this occasion, the 2,500 participants demeaned to Prime Minister Lionel JOSPIN, who closed the meeting with details of the project for the taxation of associations requested by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
