The 26 members of the Atlantic Alliance are satisfied with the confirmation of their commitment to Afghanistan. The 21 European member countries of NATO are satisfied with George W. The SHAPE, which President Vincent Auriol, accompanied by Minister of Defence Jules Moch, hands over the keys to General Eisenhower, was the headquarters of NATO headquarters until 1967. After France withdrew from NATO’s military command, SHAPE was transferred to Belgium.
More than 40 years after leaving it, France has regained its place in NATO command. It regains command of Norfolk in the United States, as well as an operational command.
