The Unemployment Insurance Convention: a reform to save money

In order to return to balance, the Unemployment Insurance has just adopted a reform project that should allow a saving of nearly 2.5 billion euros over three years. This Unemployment Insurance Agreement provides, among other things, for a new system of compensation for precarious workers, better coverage of the unemployed and higher contributions. Interview with Michel COQUILLON, of the CFTC, who defends this reform.
