In Beirut, several thousand people demonstrated to denounce the incompetence and corruption of the country’s leaders. They hold them responsible for this tragedy, which has left 158 dead and thousands homeless. Demonstrators are waving gallows to demand the resignation of those responsible at the head of Lebanon. A man, with a gallows in his hand, declares that he wants "justice, someone who takes responsibility". Another says: "I no longer believe in my country at all... I no longer believe in justice... we lost everything because of this government of bastards".
