Explosion du port de Beyrouth : action des sauveteurs dans la zone du cratère
In Lebanon, three days after the huge blast that blew the port of Beirut, French rescuers are looking for possible survivors. The latest assessment, still provisional, is 149 dead, 5,000 wounded and dozens of missing persons... The warehouse filled with ammonium nitrate was replaced by a crater several metres deep. Two of the rescuers talked about trying to see if they could see anyone, a task complicated by the tons of corn spilled by the collapsed silo. Lieutenant Michel LEMURR, Firefighter of Beirut, explains that they have just found the body of one of their colleagues.
