After having gathered at the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Dalai Lama participated in a rally advocating non-violence, with besides Buddhists, representatives of the various religious communities, Jain, Muslim, or Hindu. He then held a press conference. Main message: dialogue with China to solve the Tibetan problem. His Holiness the Dalai Lama asks the international community not to forget Tibet.
