New occupation of Parisian building organized yesterday afternoon by the association DAL (Right to housing). In the presence of the press, Abbé Pierre and several personalities, about forty people settled in a building of the Bank of France located 14 rue Béranger, in the 3rd arrondissement. - Rue Béranger: PR Abbé PIERRE, surrounded by the crowd and the photographers, sends a hand greeting to the floors of the building / plainclothes police, mobile phone in hand - declare. from Abbé PIERRE, seated next to an African woman and her child: "If the public force really came (..) A hot meal in the middle of the winter, a moment much awaited by the migrants. There were 200 of them waiting in line. Despite the temperatures many migrants occupy the usual squats, yet the collective C'Sur welcomes them by great cold in an old church. They often refuse to be accommodated in a closed place known to the police. The town hall has made a plot available to consider a real precarious and demountable reception structure, but no accommodation not to create a new Sangatte.
