Floods and storms: the damage balance in the region

It all started on Christmas Eve, with strong gusts of wind and a large tidal coefficient that will cause the first floods. From there, the damage will continue. Firefighters in the region will leave more than 700 times. In Le Havre, the wind reaches 180 km/h. The chemical tanker under construction at the ACH will break its moorings and cause the death of a person. Many retention ponds will overflow, for example in Saint Valery en Caux where more than 1.20 metres of water have been found in the streets. Evacuations took place to protect people. Example in Fécamp where a street turned into a river. In Bolbec, the damage is considerable. The cathedrals of Rouen and Evreux were also affected.
