A subject dedicated to the tradition inherited from the Ancien régime of 21 cannon shots fired from the Place des Invalides during the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic. The two pieces of artillery rescued from the First World War used for Nicolas SARKOZY’s investiture protocol are drawn by the horses of 19 army artillery servants. Explanations are provided by Chief Warrant Officer Yvan BOUILOT, Chief of Exhibits 57th RA Bitche and by Lieutenant Colonel Jean Pierre REGIMBEAU, Commander of the Artillery Honour Battery, Draguignan Artillery Application School.
