In the name of the father, the mathematician Michèle Audin refuses the Legion of Honour

Denying the legion of honour proposed by Nicolas SARKOZY for his academic work in fundamental research is what mathematician Michèle AUDIN, professor at the Faculty of Strasbourg and author of many books has just done. A refusal justified in the name of his father Maurice AUDIN, kidnapped by the French army in Algiers in 1957 and the contempt of the authorities towards his family. For 52 years she has been waiting to know what became of her father and the search for truth becomes essential with the closing of the archives and the progressive disappearance of all the witnesses of the time. Interview with Michèle AUDIN.
