Signing of a free movement agreement in Schengen

An agreement was signed today in Schengen, Luxembourg, to abolish police and customs controls between five countries of the Common Market: the three of Benelux, Germany and France. The signing took place in the barge "Princess Marie Astrid", on the Moselle, meeting point with Germany and France. Catherine LALUMIERE, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, represented France. For her, it is the symbol of the will to make the Europe of the citizens, by facilitating the passage of customs.
