Undocumented: obligation to leave the French territory
Report in Limoges. According to the Conseil d'Etat, the decisions of the administrative court of Haute-Vienne to force undocumented persons to leave French territory should have been reasoned. A lawyer assumes that a policy of quotas and results would be enforced by the police. The recently passed Hortefeux Law should remove the obligation of motivation from these administrative decisions. Interviews with Jean-Eric MALABRE, a lawyer specialising in foreign law, and Pascal CAYLA, regional secretary of the Alliance trade union.
