The flower market of Rungis

The flower market of Rungis

Mr Grasset presents the market of flowers and plants of Rungis, its schedules and its operation. He admits that it is sometimes difficult to reconcile the interests of producers, wholesalers and retail florists. Three families of professionals share the cut flower market in Rungis. A large part of the flowers come from the south of France, but wholesalers from the south also import flowers from Holland or overseas countries for exotic species.
