Georges LAUTNER is always surprised by the success, more than 40 years after its first release, of his film "Les tontons flingueurs". He remembers that at the time, he and his team were panicked at the idea of shooting for the first time with a big production company. Not well received when it was released in cinemas by some film critics, the film has become cult over time. "We made a film while having fun, and then it continues to make people laugh".
