What is this job as a housekeeper? It’s responding to women’s concerns like sewing an apron for her child. All household problems arise in these schools of household arts. She trains young women in sewing, lighting; but there are also moral problems. The counselor also takes care of deaf mutes. We see her in the class teaching a cooking class.
