Maurice Audin stabbed by French soldiers according to General Aussaresses
Jean-Charles Deniau, journalist, writer, director, claims to have the truth about the death of Maurice Audin, executed by the French army in Algeria. A little before his death last month, General Aussaresses would have spoken. Arrested on 11 June 1957, anti-colonial communist activist Maurice Audin was tortured to death. The military version says he jumped out of the Jeep taking him to his interrogation. Questioned shortly before his death by Jean Charles DENIAU, General Paul AUSSARESSES admits that Maurice AUDIN was killed with a knife by the French military.
