Annie ERNAUX talks about her book "Je ne suis pas sortie de ma nuit" which recounts her mother’s Alzheimer’s disease. She took notes as soon as her mother moved in with her noting what was going on between them. This gradually formed a newspaper. She speaks of the bonds that united them made of suffering and love. She explains the reason for the title and the origin of her vocation as a writer.
