Village of Nevé Shalom

Two months after the start of the clashes in the territories occupied by Israel, a report on the village of Névé Shalom or the Oasis of Peace, a village created in 1977 by Jews and Arabs of Israeli nationality, selected for the 1988 Nobel Peace Prize. The children of the village speak Arabic and Hebrew from their births. In the school, Etty one of the teachers explains the children learn to read and write both languages even if the priority is given to their original language. Interviewed, Abed abdel salam NADJAR, secretary of Neve Shalom, talks about the cohabitation between Jews and Arabs and the current situation in Israel.
