Napoleon’s residence at Elba Island

Napoleon’s residence at Elba Island

Visit of the Palazzina dei Mulini (Palace of Mulini), which was the official residence of Napoleon during his exile and his reign on the Island of Elba. These were originally two ruined buildings that were once mills. They were restored and connected by a reception room. Images of the gardens overlooking the sea, different rooms with commentary on the disparate furniture, the rooms that the emperor had reserved for himself, and a brief explanation of André CASTELOT on the origin of the furniture.
