Noël Favrelière: "Going to Algeria, it was for me to go do the Kraut"
On the plateau of Arlette CHABOT, Noël FAVRELIERE, former called in Algeria in 1956, deserter and amnesty in 1966, explains how he was marked, as a child, by the Second World War with a resistant father. He remembers the first German deaths he saw at the age of 8. "To go to Algeria for me was to go do the Kraut, because I understood their fight," he admits.
