6 August 1945: An atomic bomb on Hiroshima

On the morning of August 6, 1945, an American bomber dropped the first atomic bomb in history on the city of Hiroshima. It killed 140,000 people. A look back at the story of the day, with images of the bomb, the debris, the victims and the Americans who launched the assault. Other victims have appeared over time as a result of radiation. Some have survived, 70 years later they still bear the stigma, physically or psychologically. Testimony of a recapture that survived because she was late for work. She comes to collect near the dome of Genbaku, rare remnant and epicentre of the bomb.
