Presentation of the automatic book transport system (TAD) of the National Library of France on the occasion of the twenty years of its inauguration by François Mitterrand. To be communicated as quickly as possible to the readers of the library, the books are transported from the stores to the reading rooms on carrycots running for 7 km wide.
