Analyses at the radiological monitoring laboratory

Report in the radiological monitoring laboratory in Mururoa. Scientists go to the atolls and islands surrounding the nuclear test area, as well as to the Papeete market in Tahiti, to collect everyday consumer products such as lobsters or fruits to measure their radioactivity. According to Dr Philippe MILLON, Chief Medical Officer of the Biological Service, these analyses prove that food poses no risk, despite its proximity to nuclear test areas.
