Situation Near Fukushima One Year After The Disaster
A report in Japan, in the Fukushima region, where a year ago, following a tsunami, a nuclear accident contaminated the entire area. In the village of Kawauchi-Mura, at the limit of the forbidden zone, within a perimeter of 20 kilometers around the power plant, the inhabitants have been evacuated to a temporary area and only a few people watch the streets for the cleaning and decontamination of the village. Despite this, the evacuees remain hesitant about returning to their homes. Interviews with Moma SHOICHI (Kawauchi-Mura Security Patrol Member), Takemi IKARI (District Representative), and Igari MITSURI (Deputy Mayor of Kawauchi Maura).
