In 2015, the Air Liquide group inaugurated the Cryocap technology in its Port Jérôme plant. This process of capturing CO2 by cold allows to limit the emission of this greenhouse gas. This technology is applicable in several areas, including food freezing. Air Liquide is now looking for new processes to reduce its CO2 emissions at the source. By 2020, Air Liquide has committed to ensuring that 50% of its hydrogen production is free of carbon dioxide emissions.
