Villa Noailles which hosts exhibitions of contemporary art, design, architecture has just reopened after restoration of the place. Interview with its director Jean-Pierre BLANC.
Today opened the 33rd festival dedicated to young designers at the villa Noailles de Hyères. An international event that allowed some participants to make a place of choice in haute couture. History of the Villa Noailles built in the 1920s by architect Robert Mallet-Stevens for the viscount and viscount of Noailles. The villa became the rendezvous of the artistic avant-garde before being left abandoned at the death of Marie-Laure de Noailles. A renovation project is underway.
