Protest against the construction of a car park in Montmartre
A hundred Montmartrois, supported by some artists, gathered on Thursday, March 22, 90, to the sound of the accordion, in a square of the hill, vestige of the maquis of Montmartre. They protest against a new project to build an underground car park, the construction of which would result in the disappearance of 23 maples. They had these trees baptized by the artists present who hung on each of them plates bearing the names of artists from Montmartre of the past. Interviews with Montmartroises, and actors Pierre RICHARD, symbolically baptizing a tree, and Roland GIRAUD.
