Sartre in Boulogne-Billancourt

The "Maoist" militant of the proletarian Left, Pierre Overney, died during an action at the Renault factory in Boulogne-Billancourt. The group was attempting to force their way into the plant. Alain Geismar, leader of the Maoists and Jean-Paul Sartre, went to Boulogne. Alain GEISMAR leaves a wreath. Outside the factory, Jean Paul SARTRE tries to talk to the workers but the doors remain closed. Interviewed, he explains: "...it is clear that we do not want the workers to tell the truth (...), there was an assassination, it is certain that the management is responsible for it in the first place and that second, the weapon of this man was not by chance in his pocket".
