At the Interministerial Committee for Territorial Planning (CIAT), the government announced the transfer of the ENA to Strasbourg and the departure to the Province of 2500 public company officials. CIAT release: Jean-Pierre SOISSON, Jack LANG, Philippe MARCHAND. Edith CRESSON’s statement: "This is an exemplary decision. The ENA is a prestigious institution. This high-quality administration will open up to Europe and Strasbourg is the best location".
