General Alexandre LEBED, appointed Secretary of the Security Council and Adviser to the President for National Security by Boris YELTSIN, continues the electoral campaign (for YELTSIN) for the 2nd round of the Russian elections, after being defeated in the first round of presidential elections. Today, he canceled his visit to his stronghold in Tula, located 200 km south of Moscow, where many festivities were planned to welcome him, the votes of his voters will be decisive for the second round. Communist Gennady Zyuganov is the candidate against Boris Yeltsin in the second round, his supporters meet in the National Assembly in the Houses of Culture A small street with inhabitants disappointed that General Lebed did not come, with soldiers and with a former communist activist disappointed.
