Virgil Tanase
Virgil Tanase is a Romanian writer, playwright, translator and philosopher born in Galati on July 16, 1945. Opposed to the communist regime of Ceausescu, he had to flee his country and settle in Paris. Author of about fifteen books, including his first novel: Portrait of a man in a landscape husband, Virgil Tanase also staged shows in France and Romania.
