Oil Escaping From Boehlen

Oil Escaping From Boehlen

The Boehlen or Bohlen is an East German oil tanker that sank in a storm off the Seine Island in Brittany on October 15, 1976. The oil slicks reached the Brittany coast. Off the Sein Island, the water tables attack the surface fish and in a thin layer prohibit the oxygenation of the marine environment. Along the coast, the sticky layer invades the beaches and 200,000 birds are killed each year. Report on the methods of combating the oil slick which is developing off the Seine Island and the clogging of the Boehlen, after ten days of harassing work and ten days to come to finish filling two other gaps. A submarine of the Comex, is in charge of locating the faults in the hull of the Boehlen.
