The unions ask for the classification of the source Perrier, in operation since 1863, in AOC in order to maintain the production in the Gard. This step, decided unanimously by the works council, comes at a time when the management of Nestlé Waters plans to sell the brand and threatens thousands of jobs. No mineral water has received a controlled designation in France to date.
