1924 Olympics: Charles Rigoulot, a butcher turned weightlifting gold medal
At the Colombes stadium, where most of the events of the 1924 Olympic Games took place, Dany RIGOULOT evokes his father Charles Rigoulot, a butcher boy at the Vésinet, who won the gold medal in weightlifting. She explains that it was by working at the butcher shop that he wanted to become an athlete. Illustration by photos of the latter.
